How to use the marketing budget tracker

  1. Set Total Budget: Enter your overall marketing budget (£) and click “Set Budget & Allocate.”
  2. Choose Goal Preset: Select a business objective (e.g., Brand Awareness, Lead Generation) to automatically adjust category percentages. Choose “Custom” for manual control.
  3. Adjust Categories:
    • Customise Percentages: Modify allocated percentages for each category. Amounts update automatically.
    • Add/Remove: Click “Add New Category” or “Remove” as needed.
    • Check Feedback: Ensure total percentages sum to 100%.
  4. Track Spending: Input actual spend per category. “Remaining” amounts update instantly, highlighting any overspend.
  5. Review Summary: See your total budget, allocated funds, total spent, and overall remaining budget at a glance.
